Switch on your computer, logon to Facebook or twitter and type the name shahid Kapoor or sonam Kapoor in search text box. There are high chances of you not finding them and possibly both going underground, especially after doing a film like mausam.
Mausam is a Tom and jerry play between Harry and aayat. Both are bad mannered and don't communicate properly. Aayat leaves one morning for no reason and lands in Scotland escaping her neighbour boy friend Harry. Harry becomes a pilot and cones to Scotland. To take revenge he runs without informing aayat and goes to fly fighter jets in jodhpur. Then he tries to check if aayat has understood his revenge. Aayat and family are fast and leave Scotland before Harry can reach them. They go to mallukot in punjab and try tracing Harry who is busy playing Tom cruise and sporting ray bans. Tired of calling endlessly aayat goes to ahmedabd and then to Scotland. Now Harry comes to Switzerland and meets aayat while she is returning from USA to Ahmedabad via Switzerland. Harry goes back to Ahmedabad via punjab . So finally they all meet in Ahmedabad. In the end Harry and aayat are married with a kid who is introduced in last shot of film. Also aayat seems to be pregnant. The movie ends. This kind of mausam can only depress people to commit suicides or tear their clothes. I wish this mausam doesn't come back evr again.

Mumbai Roads
Most people in Mumbai learn to live in limited spaces inside walls of their homes. Since spaces in homes are limited, most people love to be out of home for long to embrace free air and space be it their offices , malls or streets. That's one reason why an average Mumbai kar reaches home late compared to other cities

The business of corruption
Much has been written, seen and heard about corruption and the dirty linen that India is washing in public today with Anna being the master dhobi. I have discussed and heard several views and broadly there are three categories of people 1) Those who are supporting Anna 2) Those who feel government is right and Lokpal is nothing but its a joke pal ! 3) Those who are lost and don't know what is going on.
I am trying to decode here why Indians are corrupt in the first place.
My analysis below indicates that we were not corrupt but the system has been designed to ensure that we lose out and become uncompetitive if we do not indulge in corruption with the government and bureaucracy.
1) The government in power wants to ensure that they remain in power for next term. To be in power the party in power ( currently Congress) needs to blow money It is similar to capex spent by organizations to invest in future growth. The only way party workers could make money is through corruption. So in garb of several opportunities like CWG, Allotment of telecom spectrum , the party workers made huge money.Once there is money you can buy anyone under the sun and play your game the big way. Its similar to an apple or Google having huge amount of free cash , thereby making entry barriers really tough for newer players.
2) In many news channels and heated discussions in offices, people have blamed that as individuals, we first need to stop being corrupt. Examples are being cited of individuals bribing traffic policemen while breaking laws, small bribes given to expedite works like issuance of passports, licenses, etc, etc. Well, the fact is that the rules are designed to ensure that corruption sustain. If the process of paying traffic fines was simplified, I would love to officially pay fine than bribe. If donations at schools were banned and made cognizable offense , no parent would pay money for their kids.At present laws are confusing and not easy enough for a common man to interpret. This creates assymetry of information and causes the provider of service ( governement babus) to call the shots. There is no mechanism to measure the speed or quality of service provided by the government.
3) There are examples of countries like Singapore that are highly transparent and non-corrupt. The fact is that it's the system that was first designed to ensure transparency and tighter controls on corruption , this in turn led to the people of that country following a non-corrupt approach to all things they do in their daily lives, for us we don't have a role model to follow. That's why a non-corrupt old man is almost like an alien for us , an avataar whom we can look upto and clean ourselves of this mess.
